Is it a stroke?

Stroke is a disorder of brain function due to blood flow to the brain is altered (reduced). Consequently, nutrients and oxygen to the brain  not properly completed. Causes of Stroke There are two types, namely the existence of blockages in blood vessels (thrombus) and the presence of a blood vessel ruptured.

Typically, a stroke suffered by the elderly, because the aging process causes the hardening and narrowing of blood vessels (arteriosclerosis) and the presence of fats that clog arteries (atherosclerosis). But several recent cases show an increase in cases of stroke that occur during adolescence and childbearing age (15-40 years). In this group, a leading cause of stroke is a stress, drug abuse, alcohol, heredity, and an unhealthy lifestyle.

Cause of stroke

In the case of stroke adolescence, genetic factors (heredity) is the leading cause of stroke. Frequently encountered cases of stroke caused by blood vessel is fragile and breaks easily, or blood system disorders such as hemophilia and thalamus disease are inherited by the parents of the patient. Meanwhile, if a family member with diabetes (diabetes), hypertension (high blood pressure) and heart disease, stroke may be greater in family members.

Other causes of stroke are foods with high levels of bad cholesterol (Low Density Liposuction) is very high.  this evil, there is a lot of junk food or fast food. In addition, other causes of stroke is a lazy habit of exercise and movement, a lot of drinking, smoking, drug abuse and addictive substances, much less rest time and prolonged stress. Rupture of blood vessels are also often caused by the disease of high blood pressure (hypertension).

Symptoms of Stroke

The first symptoms of stroke usually dizziness, head seemed to spin (such as illness of dizziness), then followed with a speech impediment and mouth muscles move. Other symptoms are  taste sensor (it feels nothing like the needles pinched or bitten) and the body feels paralyzed side, and no reflex movement. Also often occur suddenly blind or blurred vision (due to the supply of blood and oxygen to the eye is greatly reduced), disturbance of taste in the mouth of the system and the muscles of the mouth (so often encountered people with a grimace), paralysis of the muscles of the body, and disruption of system memory and emotion. Often, some people can not stop crying because of the paralysis of the brain controls the system of emotions. It makes people act like a stroke patient's psychiatric illness, but it's not. Things like this that must be understood by the patient's family.

The healing process

There are 2 major healing process to be patient. The first is healing with medicines in hospitals. Strict control must be done to maintain the level of bad cholesterol can be lowered and not raised. In addition, patients are also prohibited from eating foods that can cause a stroke, like junk food and salt (which can trigger hypertension).

The healing process is the second physiotherapy, which exercises the muscles to restore muscle function and communication function to near its original condition. Physiotherapist conducted jointly physiotherapist instructors, and patients must adhere to the exercise done. If this physiotherapist not be taken seriously, it can produce a permanent paralysis of those who suffered from paralysis.

Healing in patients with stroke are very diverse. It can be cured completely (100%), some are only 50% only. This recovery depends on whether or not severe stroke, the body condition of the patient, patient compliance during the healing process, perseverance and spirit of the patient to recover, as well as support and understanding of all family members of patients. Often found that stroke patients can recover, but suffered from severe depression because their families do not want to understand and feel very disturbed by the disease (as the patient's attitude does not work, because the treatment lasts that patients have to clean the dirt, handing the patient to the nurse who also treats patients with a rough, and so on). This should be avoided if a family member who suffers a stroke.
